MY PHILOSOPHY
I believe all life is sacred and I believe
in the power of words and intention,
therefore, I am very particular about the
words which I use in any ceremony I
perform for you. I do my best to make
my services as positive as possible.

As an example, one couple wanted to pledge to be there for each other
"through all of life's struggles." My feeling is that if you look at life as a
struggle, it will become one. "Challenges" is a much better word for this
use. I prefer "opportunities," but not everyone is comfortable with this
viewpoint.
As a writer, I am able to make any sentiments you wish to express flow as
part of a harmonious ceremony. I have seen many services posted on the
internet which have incorrect grammar or phrasing. This will not happen in
a ceremony which I prepare for you.
I also believe in reincarnation and have no doubt that couples are brought
together because they have a cosmic contract to each other in this life.
With this in mind, I do not require classes or consultations on the meaning
of marriage. What you make of your union is a matter of the choices you
will make on a daily basis. I am happy to work with you to manifest your
destiny as I am a facilitator, not an arbitrator.
If you have children and would like to incorporate them into the ceremony, I
love to help work out a comfortable format for all. The Unity candle
provides an opportunity to honor family and friends as well. In many of my
services, close friends or relatives of the bridal couple will read a passage
or a poem, or sing a song. The choice is always yours, it is your ceremony,

Also, please be aware that I do not turn people away for any reason other
than a scheduling conflict. No matter what your personal history is, you are
also a Child of God and as such deserve my respect and cooperation.
Choices made in the past do not matter to me, only the now. Please do not
hesitate to contact me because you have been turned down by more
orthodox ministers or systems.
I also believe that whatever your ceremony is, you deserve a copy of it. I
make sure that all the wedding vows are cleared with the couple in advance
of the ceremony. For all ceremonies I provide a Keepsake Version of the
service. Many parents like to save the rose petals from the baptisms along
with the Keepsake ceremony and the baptismal certificate.
For each wedding I perform, I provide, not only a Keepsake Version, but
also a Marriage Certificate, suitable for framing.
Additional copies of the Keepsakes are available for a small fee. If the
ceremony is small, sometimes the parents or the bride and groom like to
give copies to their guests as mementos.
