Ceremonies for Your Life
COMMON QUESTIONS

Will you perform a ceremony in my home?     Yes, I often travel to
homes in the area to perform weddings and baptisms. If there is to be a
party following the ceremony it makes it so much easier for all concerned.

What are your fees?     My fees are standard, but there are variations
depending on the event, the distance, and the number of times I am
needed for rehearsals, etc.  Mileage is figured based on the trip from
High Bridge, New Jersey, to the site of your ceremony and back again.

A basic baptism is $85, plus mileage, for one person. Each additional
person or child is $25.  There are special rates for baptisms performed
from January through April.  Please call for specific details.

Weddings start at $250, plus mileage, for a custom ceremony with email
consultations over the script and a half-hour meet and greet at my home
in High Bridge, NJ.  If you add a rehearsal, the fee is $75 more plus the
additional mileage.  Mileage is billed at $1.50 per mile, back and forth.

Other types of Life Ceremonies will have individualized rates depending
upon the need.

As a non-denominational minister, what kind of church do you
have?
I have a non-denominational church, the Church of All
Creation, which honors the Divinity within all life.  I love to solemnize
ceremonies for people who are not church affiliated. My clients are
primarily outside of organized religion. There are plenty of churches to
turn to, but few places to go when you wish to remain in a spiritual
framework without the commitment to an organization.

If you have an interest in my church you can see information at
www.ChurchOfAllCreation.org.

Is this legal?     It most certainly is legal. I have been ordained by
Universal Life Ministries of California, and have all the necessary
documentation to perform marriage ceremonies.  In addition I have my
own church, registered in New Jersey, and will be ordaining ministers
through that organization.

What kind of training do you have?    I went through a spiritual
awakening in 1987 and, as a consequence, found my true direction in
life.  Since that time I have consulted, written articles, taught classes and
generally ministered to many, many people.

I recently took the step to formalize this ministry, and in doing so, found
that it meant a great deal more to me than I had anticipated. I love doing
this work. It gives me great joy to be of service to those who feel moved
to contact me.

So, what do you believe in?     I believe that all life is sacred and that
God is everywhere. In this respect, I am truly a universalist. I believe in
the Holy Trinity, the power of Christ and I also believe that there is a
softer, more feminine side to All That Is.

I believe that each one of us contains a spark of Divinity. I believe in
hope and dreams and positive affirmations. I do not wish to include dark
words in my services, so I make appropriate positive changes to words
which are provided.

I honor all positive religions.

Do we have to mention God?     No, not if you wish to do otherwise. I
like to acknowledge the Higher Power, but it is not necessary to meet the
legal requirements of a marriage ceremony. I am perfectly comfortable
creating a ceremony that reflects your desires.

Do you perform same-sex marriages?     I perform Civil Unions,
essentially marriages, which are legal for same-sex couples in New
Jersey.

How far will you travel to perform a ceremony?     Well, I love
Hawaii, but the travel expenses would have to be covered. Wherever you
wish to have your service, I can arrange to be there, the fee will simply
change accordingly.

How much notice do you need for a ceremony?     Ideally I prefer a
few weeks or even months, however, depending upon my schedule and
your flexibility, I may be available within a day or two of your inquiry.
Don't hesitate to call to ask.
