SPECIALS
WEDDINGS
Many couples find that they have reached a point in their relationship where they
wish to make an outward expression of their inward commitment by exchanging
vows of marriage, yet a lavish celebration is not what they envision. For those who
wish for a simple affair of the heart, with only a few people in attendance and no
particular setting in mind, I offer a "Special" option.
I will perform a ceremony in the park near my home, without a rehearsal, using the
Basic Wedding Vows found on these pages, with simply phone or email contact, for
$150. To do this you must have a marriage license from the State of New Jersey at
least 72 hours prior to the ceremony. If you live outside of New Jersey, you will
have to come here to High Bridge to get the license. If this is the case, please
contact about me the hours in which the local registrar is available.
It does help if you can be flexible about the time as well. You can see the Gazebo,
the first one, on the Links page, that is in the local park. Please feel free to
contact me if you have questions about this type of ceremony.
BAPTISMS
Baptisms performed January 1st through April 30th are always on a special rate of
$100 for two people. A standard single baptism is still $85, but if you wish to have
a second person baptized, the fee is reduced to $15. I am happy to make special
accommodations for larger groups as well. Sometimes families will round up all the
grandchildren, bring the cousins in from far away, and have a large ceremony,
which can be a very special occasion.
Just call me when you have some idea of what you would like.
